How does the company validation process work?

After completing your multi-step company profile, you submit it for review. Our admin team manually evaluates your information — company name, industry, location, products/services, and contact data — within 48 business hours. If adjustments are needed, you'll receive detailed feedback and can resubmit. Once approved, your company earns a verified badge visible to the entire network.

Can I participate in events without a representative account?

Yes. Company accounts can browse the public event catalog and request meeting slots at any published event. Only representatives can create events and manage the hosting schedule. If you want to be a host company (receive meeting requests), your company needs to be added to an event by its representative.

What happens if my meeting slot is rejected or taken by another company?

If your request is rejected, you'll receive an email notification and can request another available slot at the same event. If the slot was accepted by another company simultaneously, your request is automatically marked as "Rescheduled" — you'll receive an email with a direct link to our reschedule panel where you can choose a different open slot at no extra steps.

Is my company information secure and private?

Your company profile is only visible to other verified members of the MeetBuyers network — never to the public internet. We use industry-standard security: encrypted HTTPS connections, CSRF protection, rate limiting on all sensitive endpoints, and role-based access control. Contact details are only shared with companies you explicitly connect with.
